Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.Job Purpose and ImpactThe Electrical Engineering Senior Supervisor will supervise and execute overall governance on standards, application, gaps, solutions and measurements to increase production quality, efficiency and volume for the business. In this role, you will supervise a team that executes activities related to electrical engineering to enable strategic growth projects and improve our capabilities by providing engineering leadership for the organization.Key AccountabilitiesCollaborate with leadership to execute compliance of electrical engineering standards, policies, procedures and job aids with regulatory standards and align to global, regional and industry standards.Monitor and execute accountability measures and reporting mechanisms to monitor the performance against corporate benchmark metrics and measurements and foster effective utilization and integrity of automated tools and systems.Implement the tactical development and delivery oversight of vision, direction and strategy for electrical engineering.Supervise and promote electrical engineering programs and policies globally and regionally.Consolidate overall analysis and propose recommendations in areas of improvement and implement solutions to improve performance and determine acceptable risk tolerance.Oversee advanced support for electrical engineering deliverables in capital projects.Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.Other duties as assignedQualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experienceMinimum of five years of related work experienceOther minimum qualifications may applyPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSLicensed Journeyman Electrician, Certified ElectricianSAP KnowledgeTechnical gap assessment and solution identificationAbility to translate highly technical information across all levels of technical knowledgeTwo years of supervisory experiencePosition InformationLocation: Fort Dodge, KansasRelocation assistance is provided for this roleWork Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am-5pmEqual Opportunity Employer, including Disability/VetAt Cargill, we care about your safety and want your job search experience to be a positive one.
