Requirements Phoenix Children's is looking for experienced Pediatricians to join their team in Phoenix! The Phoenix Children's Hospital - Thomas Campus features a 24/7 pediatric emergency department rather than a standalone walk-in urgent care at that specific address. Pediatricians could work in the Urgent Care only or in the ED seeing predominantly lower acuity patients. Please note: Pediatrician could be used at any of our 4 UC sites or any of our ED campuses. We try to keep people geographically located to a few sites that are in close proximity. Dates of Coverage: 4/1/2027-6/30/2028 Schedule: Pediatrician shifts are a combination of 7-hour 8-hour and 10-hour shifts that include days evenings and minimally nights. Reason for Coverage: Satellite Hospital Expansion Practice Setting: Outpatient/Hospital-Based Patient Population: 100 PediatricAverage Patients: Thomas ED sees 75k visit/year Arrowhead ED sees 30K visits/year Avondale ED sees 55K visits/year Mercy/Gilbert is a new site that is expected to see 20K in the first year.Trauma/Facility Designation: Thomas ED is the only Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center in the state.
