What You Should Know Associates are responsible for positively contributing to customers’ shopping experience by providing knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient service. Team members must deliver impeccable customer service, greeting customers, attending to their needs, and building a loyal client base. To perform these responsibilities, associates must be able to positively interact and build relationships with customers, co‑workers and management teams. What You Will Do The Sales Associate gathers and uses product knowledge to educate customers and assists them in making product selections. The associate tags merchandise for sale, applies promotional notices and price tags, applies loss prevention sensors, and processes merchandise from the stock room to the sales floor. In addition, the associate assists in unloading and processing stock weighing up to 55 lbs. The Sales Associate will perform sales transactions through skillful use of the POS system and complete these transactions in a professional, friendly, and timely manner. The associate is responsible for communicating information regarding sales, markdowns, customer programs, and promotions to all customers.
