Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring 2+ years of CVICU experience and a CO or Compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Coronary/CVICU unit of a hospital environment
• 3x12hr night shift schedule from 1900-0730
• No on-call requirements
• Weekend shifts required
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS, all AHA-issued and not expiring prior to start
• 2+ years of CVICU experience required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while documenting according to hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Provide therapy and treatment supportive to patient life and well-being, including consultation, delegation, and supervision as needed
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment and monitor therapy and treatment plans
• Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before eligibility for this travel assignment
