Punch Press Operator Lake Zurich, IL Pay Rate: $16.00 – $28.00 per hour Shift: 2nd shift | Monday to Friday | 2 pm-10:30 pm | 16-18/hour 3rd shift | Sunday to Thursday (OT on Fridays) | 17-20/hour Hard Work. What You'll Need

• Knowledge of metal stamping
• Experience running machines
• Mechanical smarts — you know your way around tools and gauges
• Sharp eye for detail to keep quality tight
• Strength and stamina — lift up to 50 lbs. and stay on your feet
• Team player who shows up, works safely, and gets it done

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Handling of raw material to load/unload, start new coils.
• Ensure quality conformance on all presses by filling out operator inspection sheets.
• Read and understand blueprints and work instructions.
• Needs to complete daily logs and report production in the ERP system.
• Use of inspection tools in checking parts.
• Communicate with the supervisor to aid in production and quality.
• Keeping presses running safely and efficiently
