Primary Responsibilities Responsible for the monthly closing including preparation of journal entries, importing of transactions from source systems, and posting of ledgers. Prepares general ledger account reconciliations Reconciles and analyzes various general ledger accounts Prepares monthly and quarterly sales/use and medical tax returns Assists with annual audit by preparing financial information and supporting schedules Maintains effective internal controls for all assigned responsibilities Applies accounting policies and principles to properly record, report, and maintain financial data Calculates rebate/co‑op payments Assists with special projects and analysis as requested Competencies / Experience / Education Requirements BS degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred, or progress toward certification 5‑7 years of relevant professional experience in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and applications of accounting principles Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks and projects and meet firm deadlines Analytical approach to problems with high regard for detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative, and results driven environment.
