Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and diagnostic interviews, to understand patient histories and current challenges.
- Collaborating with patients to create individualized treatment plans that cater to their specific needs, goals, and cultural contexts.
- Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in various formats including individual, couple, family, and group therapy.
- Providing crisis intervention services for patients experiencing acute distress and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic support.
- Maintaining precise clinical documentation, including treatment plans and progress notes, complying with regulatory guidelines and clinic policies.
- Empowering patients through psychoeducation, improving their understanding of mental health conditions and promoting effective management strategies.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team, which might include psychiatrists, nurses, and case managers, fostering an environment of comprehensive patient care.
- Regularly assessing treatment outcomes to ensure effectiveness, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.
- Staying updated on the latest research, best practices, and emerging trends in mental health to consistently enhance clinical competencies.
- Adhering to ethical practices and ensuring the confidentiality of all patient information.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- A valid and current professional license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
- Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling positive rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with experience in trauma-informed care, group therapy, and community health services will find their skill sets particularly valued. Experience working with diverse populations and in collaborative settings will also be advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $84,000, which may vary based on your geographic location, education, experience, and skill level.
