What this job can offer you This role offers the opportunity to manage a critical part of building Remote’s PEO business, shaping client onboarding practices, and collaborating with a passionate, high‑performing global teams. You’ll oversee complex HR, payroll, and compliance environments across multiple states and industries in a fast‑moving, scaling environment. You’ll help simplify complex People processes and empower modern businesses to expand and thrive—ultimately helping define the future of work. Most importantly, you’ll have the chance to make a meaningful impact in the HR tech industry and contribute to Remote’s success as the leading HR platform for global business. What you bring 5+ years of PEO Payroll end to end experience with all states. 5+ years of PEO Payroll Customer Implementation experience in a SaaS environment. 5+ years team management or customer account management or equivalent experience. Advanced knowledge in implementing customer’s payroll structure in multiple states to ensure statutory compliance. You are passionate about leading and growing a team. Strong knowledge of creating standard operating procedures. Critical problem‑solving abilities with excellent and empathetic communication skills. Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact. Advanced experience with scaling processes, automating repetitive tasks and driving metrics to deliver results that will meet or exceed business goals. Proficient in using Google Sheets and working in a MacBook Pro environment. Not required but is considered a plus if you have a working knowledge of Monday.com, Zendesk, Notion, Slack, Salesforce and Worklio. It’s not required to have experience working remotely, but is considered a plus. Required: You must write and speak fluent English. Demonstrates strong automation and AI capabilities. Key Responsibilities Lead, Manage & Hire a nationally distributed team of PEO Payroll Implementation Specialists; grow & develop the team through coaching and mentorship. Own the end‑to‑end PEO Customer Implementation process of onboarding international customers to the Remote Global Payroll platform to include: Develop and implement detailed standard operating procedures. Ensure detailed government payroll compliance regulations are documented. Develop and implement operational processes that scale for large growth and efficiency in a fast paced environment. Track, monitor and continuously improve the team’s performance on key metrics to meet the business goals. Identify opportunities for efficiencies in the product that create a better user experience. Respond and resolve all customer escalations through positive solutions that contribute to high customer retention rates. Be the SME for multiple teams across the organization to answer queries and drive knowledge resources. Collaborate cohesively with Sales, Customer Experience, Operations, Product & Engineering, Tax & Payments, Finance, Benefits, Vendor Relations and other teams across the organization to provide best‑in‑class onboarding to our new customers and ensure we are compliant with PEO payroll regulations.
