As an LPN Medication Nurse, you provide licensed nursing support through safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation. What You'll Do: Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration, document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time, monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief, report refusals or adverse reactions promptly, conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs), transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates, observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes, maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards.
