Job Overview A law firm seeks a Plaintiff's Personal Injury Attorney in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced litigation environment, advocating for injured clients from case intake through resolution. This role demands strategic case management and exceptional client representation. Duties Manage plaintiff-side personal injury matters from intake through resolution. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses. Conduct legal research and prepare case evaluations. Take and defend depositions. Attend hearings, mediations, and trials. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and medical providers. Assist with case strategy, damages development, and settlement negotiations. Collaborate with partners, paralegals, and support staff on litigation matters. Requirements 2-3 years of civil litigation experience, with plaintiff's personal injury experience preferred. Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar. Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills. Experience handling discovery, depositions, and motion practice. Ability to independently manage deadlines and caseload responsibilities. Trial experience is a plus. Strong work ethic, professionalism, and attention to detail. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Texas. Skills Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in legal research and writing.
