Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A retail pharmacist position is available to provide professional pharmacy services at a community hospital’s pharmacy. This contract role requires 32 to 40 hours per week, with coverage needed 4-5 days weekly, preferably including Thursdays and Fridays. Weekend shifts include Saturday coverage every other week, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Location:

• Monon, IN area (coverage schedule at Winamac, IN site)

Schedule/Hours:

• Weekdays: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Every other Saturday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify medication orders, ensuring all technician-prepared products are checked prior to release
• Maintain security protocols related to pharmacy operations and controlled substances
• Enter patient and order information into the system with precision and attention to detail
• Work within a retail pharmacy setting, supporting patient care and medication dispensing

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Indiana pharmacist license, in good standing
• Experience in a retail pharmacy environment is required
• Familiarity with the PioneerRx order entry system preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a pharmacy team
