Overview Senior Scientist – New Technology Team Lead Company: Sunstar Engineering Americas, an MRA Member Location: Springboro, OH Full-Time Sunstar Engineering is a global leader in adhesives, sealants, and coatings serving automotive, construction, and electronics markets. Our New Technology Team in R&D identifies and builds breakthrough ideas that will shape Sunstar’s future. What You’ll Do Lead hands-on research in advanced materials and new technologies Guide and mentor a small team (4 direct reports) Develop new ideas with long-term business impact Collaborate with product development, manufacturing, and business teams Communicate results clearly and move projects forward Contribute to Sunstar’s global innovation efforts What We’re Looking For Required: Ph.D. (or equivalent experience) in polymer science, materials science, chemistry, or related field 3–8 years of industry or applied research experience Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in research Interest in mentoring and developing others Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas Preferred: Experience with adhesives, coatings, sealants, or polymers Experience leading projects or mentoring others Track record of innovation (patents, products, publications) Benefits 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr MRA Recruiting Services
