Position Details

• Position: Associate Veterinarian

• Employment Type: Full-Time

• Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin

• Practice Setting: Urgent Care Clinic

• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, plus one Saturday per month

• Compensation: $120,000-$140,000 base salary (based on experience) + 20-22% production

• Sign-On Bonus: Available

• Relocation Assistance: Available

• Start Date: ASAP

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations for dogs and cats.

• Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions using clinical evaluations, laboratory testing, and diagnostic imaging.

• Perform routine and soft tissue surgical procedures, including spays, neuters, wound repairs, and other common surgeries.

• Provide urgent care and stabilize emergency cases as needed.

• Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments while ensuring safe animal handling practices.

• Educate pet owners on preventive healthcare, nutrition, wellness, and treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.

• Collaborate with the veterinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.

• Active veterinary license or eligibility for licensure.

• Ideally 2-3 years of small animal experience; motivated new graduates are also encouraged to apply.

• Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or soft tissue surgery is preferred.

• Strong communication, clinical decision-making, and teamwork skills.
