Contract (52 Weeks) | Rotating Shifts | Day (4x12, 07:00–19:00) and Night (4x12, 19:00–07:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting across rotating day and night shifts
• Adhere to a schedule of 36 or 48 hours per week, with 3 weekends per six-week schedule and every other holiday; must work 2 of the 3 winter holidays
• Float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics units based on staffing needs, within scope of practice
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia or Virginia license in process (must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals are not accepted for this unit)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric cardiac experience is a plus
• BSN preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a PICU or related pediatric specialty
