CDR ProSource is seeking an experienced CNC Operator II for a manufacturing client in Three Rivers, MI . The ideal candidate will have strong machining experience, blueprint reading skills, and the ability to operate CNC mills and/or lathes while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Job Overview
Location: Three Rivers, MI
Pay: $19.00 – $22.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
4-Day Work Week | Contract-to-Hire Opportunity
Key Responsibilities
• Operate CNC mills and/or lathes following blueprints, engineering plans, and work orders
• Set tool registers, offsets, and reference points
• Verify machine settings by measuring positions and inspecting first-run parts and samples
• Perform drilling, grooving, cutting, turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing operations
• Troubleshoot machining processes and make necessary adjustments
• Replace worn tools and maintain production quality standards
• Complete production and quality documentation and logs
• Perform preventive maintenance and support equipment troubleshooting
• Communicate production status and needs between shifts
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
• Support additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years of CNC Operator I experience
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Experience with CNC mills and/or lathes
• Knowledge of GD&T, basic math, geometry, and trigonometry
• Ability to work with various materials and understand machining behavior
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills
