About This Role The RN in the Critical Care Stepdown Unit is responsible for providing individualized nursing care, interpreting medical plans, and ensuring safe and competent nursing practices. This per diem position is ideal for nurses looking to expand their experience in a supportive environment. Highlights Pay: $32.29 - $62.57 per Hour Location: Dover, NH Facility: Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Schedule: Per Diem, Night shift What You’ll Do Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records. Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects. Record patients' medical information and vital signs. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions. Appropriately assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care specific to the population served. Follow policies/procedures and clinical practice standards pertinent to care. Collaborate and communicate relevant patient data to appropriate persons clearly and effectively. Participate in selection of and complete all unit-specific competencies. Requirements Education RN program completion required. BSN preferred or enrollment in BSN program. Experience Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required. Licenses & Certifications Registered Nursing License required. AHA or ARC BLS certification required.
