Class 8 Tractor-Trailer DriverPotential first year earnings of $73,089.25 based upon average route hours; actual annual earnings may vary based upon length of route.Operate a class 8 tractor-trailer providing safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries to store locations as part of our company fleet.Home Daily5 Day Work WeekNo WeekendsSalary package includes safety incentives, driver bonuses and performance-based raisesOvernight Route Delivery with Dedicated RoutesLow Touch Freight using full pallet deliveriesModern Fleet of Tractors and TrailersESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSOperate a commercial Class 8 tractor-trailer to complete safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries in compliance with DOT and company regulations.Utilize electric pallet jacks and lift gates to load, unload, and deliver merchandise to designated store locations.Follow assigned routes, stops, and schedules to ensure efficient deliveries within set timeframes.Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain Hours of Service (HOS) logs, and comply with FMCSA regulations.Secure all loads, vehicle doors, and alarms before and after each stop; ensure proper delivery verification and manage returned merchandise.Assist with various delivery routes as needed to support operational requirements.SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIESRequired:Working knowledge of DOT regulations, logbook, and vehicle inspectionsMaintain a clean MVR and a valid DOT physical statusMust pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testsMust possess a current Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsementMust maintain the ability to work flexible hoursO'Reilly Auto Parts has a proven track record of growth and stability.
