As a Senior Medical Writer at CLD, you will combine your knowledge of science, passion for writing, and medical communications expertise to develop high-quality training materials for leading pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies. You will help transform complex scientific and medical information into clear, compelling content that enables commercial teams to better understand the science and ultimately help change patients' lives.

Located in Belmont, MA, CLD (Custom Learning Designs) is a sales training agency that exclusively works with leading pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies. As a Senior Medical Writer , you will serve as a therapeutic content expert, working with internal teams to develop accurate, engaging medical content and support client projects.
Job Requirements

• Develop high-quality medical content by understanding medical and scientific topics in depth
• Research primary literature and identify appropriate primary citations
• Translate complex primary literature into accurate, compelling prose that can be easily understood by a lay audience
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while working effectively under deadline pressures
• Provide direction and guidance to internal staff on projects where you serve as the therapeutic content expert
• Assist with proposal development
• Participate in client presentations and meetings
• Demonstrate a high level of motivation, flexibility, and adaptability
• Travel as required

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in life sciences or relevant equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of medical writing experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech setting
• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat

Pay Range

$65,000.00 Annually to $95,000.00 Annually
