Registered Nurse (RN) - Part-Time

Harbor Point Behavioral Health Center offers intensive residential treatment services within a secure setting. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of youth ages 11-17 who are experiencing emotional, psychiatric and educational difficulties. In addition to our general psychiatric programs, we also offer specialty programs for youth with more serious challenges. Qualifications:

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
• Must be licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or have a multi-state license
• Prefer experience with children and adolescents in a psychiatric facility or rehabilitation program. New Nurses will be considered.
• Demonstrates knowledge of risk factors for violence and determining potential for violent acting out and ability to assess suicidal/homicidal ideations.
• Good verbal and written skills, ability to rotate shifts and programs as necessary, ability to maintain confidentiality of resident information.
