CVICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a travel assignment. This position is designed for those who thrive in high-pressure environments and are passionate about providing exceptional patient care in a cardiovascular intensive care unit.

Job Details

Shift: Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM
Schedule: Three twelve-hour shifts per week
Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Role Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the CVICU.
Monitor vital signs and manage life support equipment.
Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families about treatment plans and ongoing care.

Qualifications

Current and valid RN license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Experience with DCI/BVP (Deep Vein Thrombosis/Bedside Vascular Procedures) preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and high-stress environments.
