Speech Language Pathologist

Now Hiring: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support high school students and make a real impact on their communication and learning.

Schedule: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)

Location: Hawthorne High School

Caseload: approx 50

Grade Level: High School

Pay: $75–$85/hr (W-2) paid weekly

What You'll Do As our SLP, you'll conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations to identify students with speech and language impairments, then develop and implement IEP goals and objectives tied to their needs. You'll provide direct and consultative therapy both individually and in small groups, and partner with teachers, administrators, psychologists, and other specialists to support student success.

You'll also:

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation (assessment reports, progress notes, service logs)
• Participate in IEP team meetings, lending your expertise on communication development and instructional strategies
• Provide parent training and resources to encourage carryover of skills at home and in the community
• Stay current with best practices and research in the field
• Ensure compliance with IDEA, Section 504, FERPA, and all applicable state and district regulations

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Active CA SLP License required
• ASHA CCCs preferred
• School-based experience preferred
