Employment sponsorship: No. Responsibilities: Lead the evaluation and delivery of new Guidewire application technologies, functionality, and approaches, and determine their usefulness and applicability to the organization. Provide Guidewire design recommendations based on long‑term IT organization strategy. Demonstrate knowledge of Guidewire in a domain of expertise (policy, claim, etc.) and provide solution design services, referring more complex queries to the right department or enterprise architect. Determine specifications, plans, designs, and develop complex and business‑critical Guidewire software solutions using appropriate software engineering processes. Meet scheduled milestones to ensure project/program objectives are met in a timely manner. Maintain an in‑depth knowledge of planning, managing, and implementing systems analysis and application development projects and programs. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field of study (or foreign equivalent). At least 6 years of experience in roles such as Manager, Team Lead, Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, Associate Consultant, Consultant, or similar positions in application design/development using Guidewire Insurance Suite products. At least 6 years of experience with each of the following: developing solutions in the insurance industry; leading the evaluation and delivery of new Guidewire application technologies, functionality, and approaches; providing Guidewire design recommendations; determining specifications, plans, designs, and developing complex Guidewire software solutions; meeting scheduled milestones; planning, managing, and implementing systems analysis and application development projects and programs. Benefits and compensation: Salary range: $167,535 (nationwide market range, not adjusted for geographic differentials). Short‑term incentive bonuses and merit increases may be available.
