Maintenance Room Technician - Seaside Resort

Job description: As the maintenance room technician, youwill be responsible for maintaining the cosmetic appearance and the mechanicalfunction of the resort buildings and grounds, in both the interior and exteriorof the property.The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge ina wide range of hotel upkeeping. The technician will complete work ordersassigned by the supervisor while following safety regulations and respectingguests. Part/time - PM 3PM-11PM Responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to: Follow all company safety andsecurity policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems/safetyhazards Performs maintenance andrepairs with a minimum of guest disturbance Replacement oflightfixtures, fixing drywall/ wallpaper, painting Repairing of broken or leakingplumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures;other light plumbing work as needed Working on damaged electricalwiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs, along with other lightelectrical work Ability to diagnose HVACmatters, upkeep, and resolve simple matters Appliance, furniture, andfixture repairs as needed Completes all work orders in atimely and detailed manner per company program standards Execution of scheduledpreventative maintenance Maintains all storage areas andwork spaces in a clean, safe, and secure manner Requirements: Available to work a flexibleschedule including weekends and holidays Previous experience in asimilar field Able to work independently Working knowledge of basicplumbing, electrical skills, preventive maintenance procedures, andreasonable understanding of building equipment and hand tools Qualifying teammembers may enjoy the following benefits: Full Time Weekly Pay Medical insurance Vision, Dental, Disability,Life,and Accident insurance Paid Vacation Bereavement leave 401K Plan (matched) Referral Program MyrtleBeach Seaside Resorts believes that our employees are the strength, vendors arethe standard, homeowners are the prospect, and customers are the focus.
