You will guide them through the maintenance and repair process that is needed to keep their car drivable and safe on the roads. Their main role is in customer services capacity, ensuring that the dealership's customers are satisfied with the services they receive. Service Advisors handle responsibilities that also include:Welcoming customers and explaining the services that the car dealership offers themListening and documenting customers' car problems and passing the information to the mechanicsConsulting with mechanics about repairs and possible alternatives to expensive workAnswering questions about service outcomes (after consulting with the mechanic if necessary)Liaising with customers and mechanics to schedule car check-ups and service appointmentsAdvising customers about warranty protections and potential cost savingsEstimating car repair costs and the time it will take for repairs to be completedHelping customers decide between part exchanging a car and fixing it through the workshopVerifying if the cars brought to the dealership have insurance coverageResolving possible customer complaints after repair services are offeredQualifications:Communication and comprehension skillsCustomer service and interpersonal skillsMultitasking skillsAbility to quickly troubleshoot car problems and explain the possible solutions to customers is preferredTime-management skills
