Accounts Payable Specialist

Fit Recruiting is partnering with a well-established company in Mobile, Alabama, to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist for its accounting team. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys a role focused on accounts payable while supporting other accounting functions in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting day-to-day accounting operations. Salary is in the $60K-$70K range, depending on experience, with company perks and benefits. Responsibilities Process all vendor and subcontractor invoices and manage weekly check runs Manage the company's corporate credit card programs, including receipt collection and expense coding Assist with business licenses, property tax filings, and annual report filings Maintain fixed asset and depreciation records Support additional accounting and operational projects as needed Qualifications Experience working within an accounting system environment Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills Ability to work independently and manage deadlines An accounting degree is required Strong work ethic and attention to detail #J-18808-Ljbffr Fit Recruiting
