Field ManagerWe are actively looking for an experienced and organized Field Manager with a background in Multi-Family projects to join our growing team! As the Field Manager you will be responsible for overseeing sub-contractors and installers, ensuring seamless coordination and efficient execution of projects, while having a keen understanding of reading blueprints, and scheduling and delivery of materials. The Field Manager will also have responsibilities that include maintaining a tight grip on project timelines, managing diverse teams, and ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards. This role requires a meticulous approach to detail, effective communication, and adeptness in adapting schedules to evolving project dynamics.Job Type: Full Time, On-siteResponsibilities for the Field Manager:Oversee and manage the on-site execution of multiple active multi-family projects.Collaborate with Project Coordinators, ensuring timely submission of submittals, change orders, and project-related documentation.Conduct physical takeoffs of project sites and work with the purchasing team to ensure timely procurement of required materials.Work closely with sub-contractors and installation teams, ensuring accurate and timely completion of each project.Ensure the adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.Vet and manage additional material requests, ensuring efficient product control in the field.Act as the point of contact for the builders and contractors, maintaining strong communication and addressing any concerns promptly.Requirements of the Field Manager:3-5+ years of experience in project/field management of multi-family projects within the Construction and Building Materials industry.Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.Strong computer skills, including proficiency in project management software.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage and coordinate with diverse on-site teams.Thorough understanding of safety protocols and quality standards.Proven track record of adhering to project timelines and delivering projects successfully.Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
