Job Title: Cath Lab Tech

Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Level 1 experience preferred; minimum of 2 years required in specialty License: Rad Tech License in KY through ARRT before start, pending license okay at submission Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS (PALS not needed at time of submission, but must obtain before the start date) Must-Have: EKG onboarding exam required Epic EHR, McKesson experience required Call requirements: 1 late call per week (5:30 PM - 7:30 PM), 1 call shift per week (5:30 PM - 7:00 AM), 1-2 call weekends per 6-week schedule Preferred experience with Philips Single, Bi Plane Angiography Description: Must have a Rad Tech License in KY through ARRT before start. Pending license okay at submission. BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications are required. PALS does not need to be obtained at time of submission, but must be completed before the start date. An EKG onboarding exam is required. Shifts will consist of four 10-hour shifts per week, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Call requirements include one late call per week and one call shift weekly, with additional call weekends as specified. Experience is preferred in a variety of skills including accurate monitoring, angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, and others listed. Selected candidates must have a Kentucky State Clienttion License before beginning assignment. Candidates may float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby. Rehire eligibility checks will be conducted, and returning staff must have been gone for six months before reapplying.
