Phlebotomist Full Time

Job Description Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions, helping healthcare providers, researchers, and patients make informed decisions that advance care. We are seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Wichita, KS at 3161 North Webb Road. Location: Wichita, KS Work Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (additional days/hours as needed) Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3years or more experience as a phlebotomist. Experience drawing on pediatrics. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency. Must pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
