DevOps EngineerJob#: 3052057Job Description:DevOps EngineerLocation: (Onsite) Findlay, Ohio or San Antiono TX or Denver CO Role OverviewA technical leader is sought for the Platform Development team to drive the transformation of infrastructure automation initiatives. This role merges technical expertise with strategic initiative to enhance Infrastructure Platform performance and reliability. The position involves establishing and maintaining platform standards, resolving complex technical challenges, and developing automation frameworks.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify performance bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions to enhance platform and system performance.Contribute to the development and improvement of troubleshooting procedures and documentation.Lead and manage platform and system technical support activities, including handling escalated and complex issues.Participate in future platform and system backup planning and lead the design of disaster/system recovery testing.Analyze performance and utilization data to identify trends, provide recommendations for optimization, and implement corrective actions.Lead the design and configuration of complex platforms and systems, ensuring compliance with best practices and industry standards.Lead the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive knowledge base for platforms and systems.Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent experience.Experience: 5+ years of relevant platforms engineer experience.Technical Skills: Cloud Infrastructure Management, Computer Networking, Cybersecurity Risk Management, DevSecOps, General Programming, Infrastructure as Code, IT Infrastructure Management, Performance Monitoring, Policy Management, Process Automations, Service Delivery Management, System Administration, System Platform, System Testing, Systems Integration, and Troubleshooting.Preferred Qualifications10+ years of experience in Networking, Compute, Storage, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Configuration Management, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and/or Platform Development.Experience in Operational Technology and an understanding of the PERA model.Experience with Azure DevOps, GitLab, Netbrain, Netbox, Itential, Jenkins, or similar Infrastructure as Code tools for continuous integration and deployment.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
