Landscape Designer - Entry Level

Overview Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is currently seeking an entry level Landscape Designer with 0-2 years of experience in detailed design and landscape architecture for our Towson Maryland office. This opportunity offers a greater level of responsibility working on diverse projects with our landscape architects, planners and engineers. Responsibilities Prepare planning documents (from concept – thru refinement and jurisdictional submission) of large-scale mixed use, commercial use, K-12 mater planning, master planned communities, and public space developments. Develop and learn landscape architectural design and detailing for a variety of land development components such as monumental entrances, streetscapes, clubhouses/community centers, playgrounds, plazas, courtyards, pocket parks, hiking trails etc. Understanding local jurisdictional requirements from comprehensive plans, to zoning codes, to detailed subdivision, landscape, and signage regulations/guidelines, including the ability to help craft modifications to these documents Work with and learn from senior leadership and mid level designers and engineers.
