What You'll Do

Provide urgent and emergency care to diverse patient populations in the ER.
Assess patient needs, develop, and implement treatment plans.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient responses.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with safety standards.
Demonstrate good judgment and adapt care to meet individual patient needs.

What You Need

Required:

Active RN license in Louisiana
Minimum 2 years ER nursing experience
Current BLS, CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to perform physical demands associated with ER nursing

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher
Certification in clinical specialty areas

This assignment is with a leading healthcare provider in Lafayette, LA, specializing in emergency medicine. The facility offers a high-volume ER setting where skilled nurses are vital to providing excellent patient care.
