Registered Nurse Fellowship Full Time Nights 7p-7a Kahn 3 Medical Stepdown Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center Morristown, NJ, United States Job Description Kahn 3 Medical Stepdown Fellowship provides experienced RNs with a supportive in‑depth professional development program focused on high‑acuity skills. Robust 8‑week orientation Enrollment in Critical Care Course Enrollment in Cardiac Dysthymia Course Hands‑on and group training Fellowship begins on days and moves to nights at midpoint of orientation Principal Accountabilities Maintain accurate, complete health‑care records and reports. Administer medications to patients and monitor them for side effects and reactions. Prescribe assistive medical devices and related treatments. Monitor, report, and record symptoms or changes in patient conditions. Assess, implement, plan, or evaluate patient nursing care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members. Record patient vital signs and medical information. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse. BLS certification. 2 years of acute‑care nursing experience. Preferred Bachelor’s degree in nursing. All ASN must complete their BSN studies within five years of their start date. Master’s degree in nursing or related field. ACLS certification.
