Retail Sales & Merchandising Associate

CRL Liquidation is looking for a dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented Retail Sales & Merchandising Associate to join our team.

We are a family-owned liquidation and wholesale business with a constantly changing selection of merchandise. Because new inventory arrives regularly, this isn’t a typical retail position where the store stays the same every week. Our team members help customers, operate the register, merchandise new products, organize inventory, and keep the sales floor looking its best.

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, friendly, hardworking, and willing to jump in wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and helpful customer service
• Greet customers and assist them in finding merchandise
• Answer basic questions about products, pricing, and store policies
• Operate the POS/register system accurately
• Process customer purchases and payments
• Merchandise new inventory throughout the sales floor
• Stock shelves, tables, displays, and other selling areas
• Create clean, organized, and appealing merchandise displays
• Price and organize merchandise as needed
• Maintain accurate pricing and product placement
• Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and customer-ready
• Help rotate and reorganize merchandise as new inventory arrives
• Assist customers with larger purchases when needed
• Lift and move boxes and merchandise weighing 25+ lbs.
• Assist with general store and warehouse-related tasks as needed

Requirements

• Dependable with a strong attendance record
• Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to merchandise and maintain an organized sales floor
• Comfortable learning and operating a POS/register system
• Ability to accurately handle customer transactions
• Ability to repeatedly lift and move 25+ lbs.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, stocking, and lifting throughout a shift
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to help in different areas of the business when needed
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check

Previous retail, cashier, merchandising, stocking, customer service, or sales experience is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
