In lieu of formal education program, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical Experience Is Required. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: No experience is required with completion of a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program. In lieu of formal education program, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience is required. Minimum Licensure/Certification Required By Law None Additional Qualifications BLS required. Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a similarly recognized certifying organization required.
