Phlebotomist Part-time

Job Overview Labcorp is hiring a Phlebotomist to work at 6400 Haven Ave., Rancho Cucamonga, CA. 91737. The position is part‑time, 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday 7:00am‑12:00pm with rotational Saturdays. Responsibilities Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic procedures. Enter patient information accurately and promptly into the system. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed. Travel to additional sites as required. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. California state‑issued Phlebotomy license (CPT). Preferred Qualifications At least one year of experience as a phlebotomist. Current or prior experience at Labcorp. Experience with geriatrics and pediatric patients. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Flexible to work overtime as needed. Strong ability to work independently or as part of a team. Reliable transportation. Additional Job Standards An application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at the time of hire may satisfy the state license requirement. Compensation & Incentives Hourly pay: $23.00–$33.00 per hour. Phlebotomists may be eligible for a quarterly incentive bonus program based on performance metrics. Employees scheduled for fewer than 20 hours per week, as well as casual, intern, and temporary employees, are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan only.
