Experienced Bridge Painters Wanted — $61.85/Hour + Fully Paid Benefits (Waterford, CT) If you've spent time on a bridge with a spray gun in your hand, we want to talk. Our signatory contractors are hiring journey-level bridge painters right now throughout Connecticut and Rhode Island. (Important: IUPAT DC 11 does not employ painters directly, our signatory contractors are the employers who do the hiring. What we do is connect you to steady work and back you with the strongest wage-and-benefit package in the trade.) You already know this work: surface prep and abrasive blasting on structural steel and concrete, mixing and applying industrial coatings, airless spray application, film thickness and coating systems, setting up and breaking down containment, rigging, and working safely at heights with full fall protection. This is a full-time, on-site role for painters who take pride in doing it right. What we're looking for: Proven experience as a bridge or industrial painter, especially spray application Solid working knowledge of protective and industrial coating systems Commitment to safety, working at heights, PPE, and OSHA/company guidelines Physical ability to lift equipment, work outdoors, and handle demanding manual work for long stretches Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to lead by example on a crew Not sure you're at journey level yet?
