About the Role :
Designs, develops, and delivers operational and technical Treasury Management specific training to employees.
- Conduct training courses on operational, procedural, and technological skills.
- Confer with department team members to gain knowledge of TMS training needs.
- Develop classroom handouts, instructional materials, job aids, and manuals.
- Identify, design, and provide additional tools and resources that support development beyond formal training.
- Ensure all programs align with compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Determine delivery methods to provide cost-effective, quality learning programs and methods. May design and deliver various modalities including, but not limited to; eLearning, simulation, in person, and virtual training.
- Report employee progress to management during training.
- Test trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training.
- Analyze training outcomes to determine effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.
- Work with Communications Team to create, review and deliver accurate communications, including procedures, alerts, notifications, and educational material.
- Work with Enterprise Workforce Optimization to schedule optimal training times.
- All employees are responsible for internal controls in the performance of their assigned duties. Internal Control responsibilities are established in various policies, procedures, and documents, including the Code of Conduct..
- Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations that apply to your position and keep up to date on regulation changes.
- Maintain working knowledge of our policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations that apply to your position.
About You:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Bachelor's degree, preferred.
- 3 years of training and development experience, preferred.
- 2 years Treasury Management Services experience, preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to design, administer, and update training programs, preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment.
- Ability to travel.
- Requires strong written and verbal communication skills.
Work Style:
Umpqua Bank offers a Flexible Workplace Program and this opportunity comes with the Flex Office work style which is working in office from a designated company location three days weekly with flexibility to work remotely up to two days weekly.

We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $22.00-$33.00, and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
