Certified Personal Trainer

JMB Personal Training is hiring for an Evening Coach / Personal Trainer to join our award-winning wellness club in the heart of The Village of Fairport .

Recognized as one of Rochester’s top-rated personal training facilities, JMB Personal Training continues to lead the way in helping adults 40+ build strength, move pain-free, and live with confidence. We are not a big-box gym. We are a boutique coaching environment built on connection, accountability, energy, and purpose.

We are looking for a coach who can do more than lead workouts. We are looking for someone who can connect with people, command a room, coach with care, communicate with confidence, and contribute to an exceptional member experience.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about fitness, values relationships, thrives in a team environment, and wants to grow inside a business that is serious about excellence.

Schedule

• Monday: Mandatory Coaches Meeting at 3:00 PM
• Monday through Wednesday: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Thursday: 3 PM to 7:30 PM
• Friday : 9 AM to 1 PM
• Sunday: 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM (Once A Month After Mentorship)

What This Coach Will Do

• Coach semi-private, one-on-one, stretch remedy and team training sessions
• Create a high-energy, welcoming, and professional coaching presence on the floor
• Deliver strong exercise instruction, demonstrations, and real-time corrections
• Build relationships that improve member engagement, retention, and results
• Conduct wellness screenings and support member progress tracking
• Communicate with members consistently through follow-up texts and accountability touchpoints
• Support lead follow-up and help convert opportunities through genuine relationship-building
• Educate members on proper form, body mechanics, and safe movement
• Help maintain a clean, organized, high-standard facility environment
• Complete team checklists and contribute to daily operational excellence
• Represent the JMB standard with professionalism, energy, and consistency

Requirements

• Personal training and/or coaching experience preferred
• Sales confidence or the willingness to grow in that area
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to coach adults of different fitness levels with professionalism and care
• Reliable transportation and ability to commit to the schedule listed above
• Must complete our Paid JMB Mentor Program
