Physicians retain ownership of their practice entity, while MedCBO provides non‑clinical business and operational support services. The physician governs clinical operations, clinical decisions, and patient‑care policies; MedCBO does not direct patient care. Physician Responsibilities Provide care within the physician’s specialty scope. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Determine clinical services offered and manage clinical quality and patient experience. Participate in payer credentialing as coordinated by MedCBO. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination. Billing and collections management. Payer contract negotiation. Financial infrastructure and reporting. Operational workflows and staffing systems. Technology platform and implementation (EHR, telehealth, workflow systems). Credentialing, enrollments, and facility privileging coordination. Supply‑chain and vendor coordination. Requirements MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specialty appropriate to the clinical services provided. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice.
