Job Description:

The position involves providing nursing care for patients in a Cardiac MedSurg/Telemetry unit with a focus on telemetry monitoring. The facility has a 24-bed capacity and treats cardiac, post-procedure, and various acute patients. This full-time role requires flexibility to float between Highland Park, Evanston, or Skokie sites.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care for cardiac, post-procedure, medsurg-pulmonary, gastrointestinal, and behavioral acute patients.
• Utilize telemetry monitoring for patient assessment and care.
• Maintain flexibility for floating to other designated sites.
• Participate in a rotating holiday schedule and work every other weekend.

Requirements:

• Active IL RN license
• ACLS/BLS certification
• At least one completed travel contract
• Proven cardiac experience
• Pass an EKG test with a score of 80% or higher
