Job Summary We are seeking a Bilingual Spanish Staff Accountant for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Los Angeles, CA, supporting accounting operations tied to Mexico-based business activity within the transport, storage, freight forwarding, and supply chain industry. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who is detail-oriented, analytical, and confident working with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, tax compliance support, SAT requirements, CFDI invoicing, and Mexican accounting practices. The position is based at a corporate headquarters office in Bell, CA and reports to the Financial Controller. The Bilingual Spanish Staff Accountant will join a collaborative accounting environment where accuracy, accountability, teamwork, and strong communication are highly valued. Key Responsibilities Support day-to-day general ledger accounting activities for operations related to Mexico. Prepare and post monthly journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries. Perform account reconciliations, account analysis, and month-end and year-end close support. Review and audit financial data to help ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Assist with financial reporting, documentation, recordkeeping, budgeting support, and forecasting-related accounting activities. Collaborate with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret financial information. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $75,000 to $85,000 per year. Job type: Temp-to-hire.
