Details Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology setting 1:1 patient ratio Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (0700-1730), Monday through Friday On-call rotation required, including nights, weekends, and any day of the week for emergencies Any EMR/charting system experience accepted Requirements Active CA RN license required BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or ARC) Minimum 2 years of experience required unless otherwise noted Cardiac Cath Lab experience required, including coronary angiograms Experience with Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Impella, and ECMO required Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and rapid response to emergent cardiac procedures Skills required include 12-lead EKG interpretation, procedural sedation monitoring, sheath removal, vascular closure devices, and dysrhythmia management 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration 7-year work history verification required for all candidates Additional Information Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular, vascular, and radiology procedures Responsible for patient assessment, preparation, sedation management, and recovery before, during, and after invasive procedures Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient care Participate in an on-call rotation including nights, weekends, and holidays Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract Holiday coverage required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day Local candidates accepted at the local rate within a 50-mile radius Returning employees must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year to be eligible as a traveler First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-743490.
