As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Intake Specialist in Orlando, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener at a government health and family services location, you will welcome visitors, screen access, monitor entry points, and report security-related concerns while providing outstanding customer service. Your visible presence will help to deter incidents and support an orderly environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, clients, and staff at a government health and family services location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Screen visitors, verify identification and appointment information as applicable, direct individuals to appropriate service areas, and communicate entry requirements in a professional manner.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, report suspicious activity or policy concerns, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, disruptive behavior, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel of concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
