Overview RAYUS Radiology is opening an outpatient imaging center in Clarksville, TN. We are seeking a CT Technologist to join our team. This role involves operating CT scanners to produce images for diagnostic purposes, delivering patient-centered care within professional standards, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Screens patients before exams for precautions or contradictions, using two patient identifiers to ensure the correct patient and procedure. Explains and prepares patients for scanning procedures and positions patients to obtain appropriate images. Performs routine and advanced CT imaging procedures with minimal supervision, while providing patient support and maintaining communication throughout the procedure. Adjusts scanning parameters as needed and utilizes dose-reduction techniques as appropriate. Follows physicians\' orders, adheres to safety regulations, and maintains patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS). Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements. Maintains an orderly and clean work area and promotes safety for patients and co-workers. CT/Imaging Department Support Assists with updating imaging protocol manuals and software upgrades. Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary. Assists with training of new team members, providing resources and technical expertise as applicable. Other Tasks Completes other tasks as assigned. Qualifications Required: High School diploma, or equivalent Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiography ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification Demonstrated ability to competently perform CT procedures independently Certification in imaging specialty Preferred: Bi-lingual capabilities Benefits & Additional Information RAYUS is committed to delivering clinical excellence and providing high-quality patient care.
