Information Systems Security Officer – Clearance Required We are seeking an experienced ISSO to support the Data Transformation Solutions (DTS) TTO, providing normalization of cyber security data and automation of threat intelligence for the Cyber Infrastructure Solutions customer. This role requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and a commitment to ensuring system compliance throughout the lifecycle. Essential Responsibilities Serve as primary security steward for one or more mission‑critical information systems, ensuring compliance with federal, DoD, and agency security requirements. Develop, maintain, and assess security documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs). Coordinate certification & accreditation activities. Maintain waivers and support Secure Technical Environment (STE) / Secure Transfer Node (STN) compliance activities within SSPs. Certify systems and support SSP re‑accreditation processes. Act as key liaison between system owners, senior government officials, and technical teams. Provide briefing and communication with senior government and technical leaders. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus ten (10) years of ISSO experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Four (4) years of additional software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Experience must include at least two of the following areas: knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation, communication protocols, and encryption techniques/tools. DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level 1 or higher required. TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Required Skills & Experience Experience creating, updating, and maintaining System Security Plans (SSPs). Familiarity with STE and STN requirements and managing them within SSPs. Ability to maintain waivers and support STE/STN compliance activities. Experience certifying systems and supporting SSP re‑accreditation processes. Proven track record working with Designated System Owners (DSOs). Strong interpersonal skills; adept at briefing senior government and technical leaders. Clearance Level TS/SCI with Polygraph.
