Primary concentration will include managing the process for loan syndications, debt placements, amendments, extensions, waivers, and consents. Acts as a key coordinator and manager of administration between Capital Markets, Operations, Legal, Finance and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely execution, documentation and closing of syndicated and participated loans. Responsible within Capital Markets for facilitating transaction execution, documentation accuracy, and ongoing communication with bank groups. Essential FunctionsResponsible for being the primary interface for managing the syndication of loan transactions from inception to completion independently, specifically working on our most complex transactions in the rural infrastructure space. Executes sales and marketing efforts for transactions that are pre-structured by another institution and CoBank is acting as an intermediate seller to the Farm Credit System on a post-close basis.Responsible for managing the syndication process by collecting commitments, communicating allocations to the bank group, calculating fees due to investors and coordination with internal accounting teams. Serve as primary deal coordinator between Capital Markets and Operations to close syndicated and sold loans with regard to our most complex loans in rural infrastructure.Demonstrate subject matter expertise in complex rural infrastructure syndicated transactions to ensure accurate and timely system entries and transaction processing.Process amendments, extensions, waivers, and consents, including routine communication with bank groups.Maintain division databases and track loan servicing activity, transaction metrics, and capital markets performance data.Create and populate data rooms for investors to access confidential information related to transactions, as well as requests for amendments, consents, and waivers. Prepare, maintain, manage, and process internal checklists, templates and guidelines, inclusive of the above essential functions. EducationBachelor's Degree in finance, business, economics, or a relevant discipline required Bachelor’s degree may be substituted with four years of related experience (four years is in addition to what is minimally required for the role), or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Work Experience6 years of experience in operational and administrative aspects of complex corporate, syndicated, or participated credits including supporting loan closing administration and processing required 1 year of paralegal experience in secured lending or a law firm environment preferred Subject matter expertise in loan documentation, syndicated loan processes, procedures, administration and documentation. Understanding of credit approval memos, term sheets, syndicated loan agreements, note purchase agreements and indentures to identify key terms and direct workflow. Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify when to escalate issues. Proven ability to produce timely, accurate, and thorough work. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with advanced spreadsheet and database skills. About CoBankThe typical base pay range for this role is between $90,900 - $111,800. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
