We are seeking a Progressive metal Stamping Press Operator to join our team! You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control.
Responsibilities:- Lead 2nd shift stamping production daily tasks, support other operators
- Support shift training programs.
- Oversee assigned die, press and auxillary equipment for all production following quality procedures, safety procedures, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment when necessary
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion, such as achieving noted production speed
- Load metal and unload product using assigned equipment and materials
- Provide innovative solutions to improve plant efficiency
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance in the work area
- Log and record readings for product quality and metal consumption using assigned equipment and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating progressive high speed 22-75 ton high speed stamping presses, notably Bruderer, Minster or Perkins
- Familiarity with plant tools and equipment
- Strong verbal communication, troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Ability to handle physical loads up to 50 pounds
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced industrial environment
- 2nd shift pay premium offered (10%)
