State Licensed Personal Health Advocate

Virtual Vocations Inc

To enhance member support, the full-time remote State Licensed Personal Health Advocate will assist clients in navigating the healthcare system, provide education on medical conditions, and facilitate access to healthcare providers and services. Key responsibilities Receive and manage calls from members regarding various healthcare issues, determining the best course of action Build relationships with members to develop collaborative plans of action and encourage ongoing communication Facilitate communication among members, physicians, and insurance carriers while assisting with scheduling and resolving healthcare-related issues Required qualifications BSN or RN degree from an accredited college or university required Active and unrestricted State or Multi-State RN License Minimum three to five years of clinical and/or medical management experience Understanding of medical terminology to assist in locating appropriate care options Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
