Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Temp FTThis is a full-time, temporary position for the 2026-2027 school year only. Contract Start Date: 9/1/26 Contract End Date: 6/30/27Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Temp FT Start Date: 2026-2027 School YearCertification: Must have a Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field; Board Certified Behavior Analyst as credentialed by the BACB; Delaware certified School Behavior AnalystQualifications: 3-5 years teaching experience preferred. Clean Criminal Background Check and Child Protection Registry and TB Clearance required prior to employmentSalary: Teacher salary schedule based on experience and degree. Salary Schedule can be found on the district website.Responsibilities Include:Conducting assessments related to the need for behavioral intervention (e.g., stimulus preference assessment, functional assessment) or for evaluating behavioral interventionsDesigning, implementing, and systematically monitoring skill-acquisition and behavior reduction programsOverseeing the implementation of behavior-analytic programs by othersTraining others including caregivers and staff, designing behavioral systems, and performance management related to concerns impacting educational progressCommunicating and collaborating effectively with caregivers and other professionalsOther activities normally performed by a behavior analyst that are directly related to behavior analysis, such as attending planning meetings regarding the behavior-analytic program and researching the literature that is relevant to a current client's programmingOversee and manage the district's Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT's) and provide ongoing support and supervision as it relates to the implementation and documentation associated with Behavior Support PlansOther related duties as may be requiredThe BCBA will: Have a caseload and work with teachers and other specialists to address the behavioral needs of the students. Consult with psychologists on more challenging cases to offer behavioral guidance as needed.
