Job Opportunity: Cardiac Anesthesiologist

We are excited to announce a full-time position for a Fellowship-trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our team in Mason City, Iowa.

About the Team

Our anesthesia group, comprised of Anesthesiologists and CRNAs, provides comprehensive anesthesia services for our progressive medical center and an adjacent Ambulatory Surgery Center. Responsibilities and call rotations are shared among our dedicated staff and physicians. The chosen candidate will manage a variety of cases, including:

• General Anesthesia
• Cardiac
• Thoracic
• Vascular
• Neuro
• Orthopedic
• Pediatric
• Obstetric

As a Level 3 Trauma Center, we also expect the selected individual to oversee CRNAs.

Position Details

This role will primarily focus on Cardiac surgeries, with call coverage from Monday to Thursday. Weekend call will be required for six weekends annually, along with one holiday. Compensation for on-call Cardiac anesthesia services will be provided. If there are no scheduled Cardiac cases during the week, the provider will be assigned general anesthesia cases.

A Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship is required, or TEE certification will be accepted.
